The Christmas committee as confirmed with Santa Cause that he will be in Summerside on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 6:30pm for the start of the Christmas Parade.

This years parade will start on Gallant Street behind the County Fair Mall go down Granville St to Green Street, Across Green St. to Central St., South on Central St. to Water St., East on Water St. to Waterfront Place

For parade participant’s application forms and additional information are now available at the Downtown Summerside Inc. office at 7 Summer Street or by calling 436-7546.Also, go to www.downtownsummerside.com for the application form. Early Registration is recommended.

Everyone from one end of the island to the other is welcome to participate said Casey.

We encourage parade participants to include music and lights to create a great evening for the spectators. There is NO FEE to enter but you must have your Own Generator.
