Tall Ships to visit Summerside

The topsail Schooner Pride of Baltimore II will sail into port September 4^th and be in port till September 7^th.

The Bounty was built from original drawing kept at the British admiralty archives of the HMS Bounty, famous from the 1789 mutiny with Captain Bligh. The Bounty was built in 1960 for MGM studios Mutiny on the Bounty with Marlon Brando. Since then, it has appeared in several feature length films and dozens of TV shows.

Ron Casey said Downtown Summerside Inc is working on trying to attract Tall Ships and Cruise Ships to Summerside and have more people visit our Waterfront and Downtown.
